This design layers cremains into the centre of the glass and surrounds them with different shades of blues, pops of white and greens.

The antique red maple leaf centred at the font of the stone really showcases the dept of the glass its self and captures light beautifully.

Each piece is made individually and will be unique, sizes listed are approximate, and may vary within an order.

We are currently accepting Ashes to Art orders via our web store, email, phone or in person on Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 4pm.

Colour options vary by design and artist, the whole rainbow of colours is available, we can approximate a birthstone or a favourite colour upon request.
NOTE: Not all designs are open to colour changes. If you have a specific request, make a note during check out and the artist will contact you to discuss further.
Ashes may be dropped off to us in person during our regular retail hours Fridays and Saturdays 11-4, or by appointment.
If you are mailing in your ashes here is what you need to know:
We request 1 tsp of ash/piece. Not all of the ash will be used due to limitations of the material itself and all unused ash will be returned unless requested otherwise.
Please DOUBLE BAG the ashes, this is to ensure it does not open while in transit. Please label the ashes with the order number or name of the deceased.

Please include your full name and contact information inside the envelope. We advise using a pre-paid Canada Post Expresspost bubble envelope as this includes a tracking number, guaranteed delivery time and is kept out of the big sorting machines. Additionally, you may send the ashes via a courrier like UPS or FedEx with a tracking number. We do not advise sending ashes via regular mail. Please hold onto your tracking number until the ashes have been received and we will notify you via email as soon as we have received the ashes.
Please allow approximately 8 weeks from the time we receive the ashes for completion of orders. Actual turnaround times vary and depend on many factors including how many orders are in the queue and the studio schedule. Once we have received your paid order and the ashes your order is added to the production schedule. We work hard to complete our orders in a timely way but doing a job right also takes time. If you need your order back by a specific date please let us know and we will do our very best but we do not make guarantees.
If you would like to pick your order up at the studio, please indicate this on the order form and select "Pick Up At Fireweed Glass Studio" as your shipping option.
All Canada Post and USPS shipping options include a tracking number, insurance and a signature.
For shipping sculptural items please select the Canada Post Expedited shipping option. If your order only contains jewelry, please select the shipping option “Bill me separately” and we will send you a separate invoice for the appropriate ExpressPost bubble envelope with signature, regional or national, depending on your shipping address.
Once we have started work on your order we are unable to provide a refund if you choose to cancel. If you have any questions at all please phone or email us.

Completed orders will be shipped with tracking, insurance and signature via Canada Post expedited, estimated shipping times are 2 to 8 business days within Canada and 14 business days to the USA (USPS ExpressPost).
